The School of Communication held the 9th Business Journalism Awards to recognise outstanding journalists in business news.

HSUHK hosted the inaugural Outstanding SME ESG and Business Performance Award Presentation Ceremony.

HSUHK’s Cloud Innovation School (CIS) joined forces with Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong; China Merchants Financial Holdings; the Institute of Web3.0 Hong Kong; HKU Business School; the Hong Kong Digital Asset Society; and HashKey Group, to establish the Digital Asset Alliance.

The HSUHK Library has received a generous donation of over 1,200 rare books from Professor John Strickland, former Chairman of Hongkong Bank.

HSUHK has received generous donations from Dr Yip Kit-chuen to support the University’s development. In recognition of Dr Yip’s commitment to HSUHK, an Appreciation and Naming Ceremony of Yip Kit Chuen and Yuen Yuk Hing Hall was held in October 2024.

HSUHK confers Honorary University Fellowships on five outstanding individuals to recognise their remarkable achievements in their professional fields, as well as their contributions to society and the University.

HSUHK joined the Alliance of Asian Liberal Arts Universities (AALAU) in January 2024, and hosted the AALAU Annual Presidents’ Forum 2024 in November.

HSUHK and the AS Watson Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding in November 2023 to support the academic and career development of HSUHK students, and the “1-Day Store Manager Experience Programme” is one of the initiatives.

HSUHK announced the launching of the Anti-Scam Education and Research Programme in May 2024.

HSUHK is increasing its partnerships regionally and globally. ...
