President Simon Ho and Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research), visited the UK in April 2025 to expand HSUHK’s global connections.

HSUHK has received a generous donation of HK$5 million from Tsim Sha Tsui District Kaifong Welfare Association to strengthen its Strategic Campus Development Fund.

The Centre for Quality Standard and Management (CQSM) at HSUHK received a donation of HK$7 million from Sentuo Construction Group to promote new quality standards and innovation culture.

The inauguration of the Holistic Wellness and Mental Health Hub, organised by the Institute of Knowledge Exchange (IKE) at HSUHK, and Hong Kong Institute of Christian Counselors, was held alongside a certificate presentation ceremony for Community Mental Health Ambassadors in March 2025.

The School of Communication held the 9th Business Journalism Awards to recognise outstanding journalists in business news.

HSUHK hosted the inaugural Outstanding SME ESG and Business Performance Award Presentation Ceremony.

HSUHK’s Cloud Innovation School (CIS) joined forces with Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong; China Merchants Financial Holdings; the Institute of Web3.0 Hong Kong; HKU Business School; the Hong Kong Digital Asset Society; and HashKey Group, to establish the Digital Asset Alliance.

The HSUHK Library has received a generous donation of over 1,200 rare books from Professor John Strickland, former Chairman of Hongkong Bank.

HSUHK has received generous donations from Dr Yip Kit-chuen to support the University’s development. In recognition of Dr Yip’s commitment to HSUHK, an Appreciation and Naming Ceremony of Yip Kit Chuen and Yuen Yuk Hing Hall was held in October 2024.

HSUHK confers Honorary University Fellowships on five outstanding individuals to recognise their remarkable achievements in their professional fields, as well as their contributions to society and the University.
