This year, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) is celebrating its 45th anniversary. The University has come a long way since it was first established as Hang Seng School of Commerce (HSSC) in 1980 as a non- profit private institution in Hong Kong.
HSUHK has consistently been recognised for its excellent performance in promoting sustainability.
Dr George Ho, Associate Professor at the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, won the Silver Award for his project “ExpoDrone” at the 50th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.
Three student projects from BA (Hons) in Cultural and Creative Industries programme of HSUHK have been selected to display at the “Hong Kong International Licensing Show – Hong Kong Licensing Force Showcase”.
Five BBA (Hons) in Supply Chain Management students won Championship at the CILTHK Student Day 2025 Competition.
Two BBA (Hons) in Supply Chain Management Year 4 students received the 2024 Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Best Student Award and Certificate of Merit respectively.
The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at HSUHK has been granted a total of HK$7,644,000 to support youth start-ups through the Funding Scheme for Youth Entrepreneurship in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
