HSUHK signed a strategic collaboration agreement with property developer Wang On Properties (WOP) to launch the “HSUHK Erudite House”, a pioneering student accommodation initiative founded on the principles of co-design, joint operation, and complementary strengths. Unlike conventional leasing arrangements, HSUHK will lease an entire 22-storey new residential building on 18 Ting Yip Street in Ngau Tau Kok, Kowloon, from WOP. Located just a 5-minute walk from Ngau Tau Kok MTR Station and offering an estimated commute of around 30 minutes to the HSUHK campus by multiple direct bus routes, the residence will accommodate about 300 student residents and is expected to be completed in August 2027.

Under the agreement, the University will secure the naming rights and play an active role in the planning, design, and fit-out processes, ensuring that the facilities fully align with students’ needs. The HSUHK Erudite House will also feature a range of communal facilities, including a fitness room, a dance studio, meeting rooms, and shared social areas, providing students with a high-quality and holistic living and learning environment.
