To raise awareness among the University community of environmental protection, community engagement, and sustainability, HSUHK hosted the “HSUHK Green Eco Trek Fun Fest” on 1 March 2026. The event attracted around 300 staff members, students, alumni, and supporters, who explored scenic nature trails near HSUHK’s campus in Shatin.

During the trek, participants scanned QR codes to access an audio guide narrated President Simon Ho. The guide shared interesting facts about the natural environment, insights into the University’s sustainability initiatives, and information on its achievements in promoting green practices and campus eco greening.
