HSUHK captivates audiences with “Uniquely Common” Concert

HSUHK held the “Uniquely Common” Concert at Hong Kong City Hall on 18 September 2025 to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the founding of HSUHK, and to raise funds for its “Strategic Campus Development Fund”. The Concert attracted 1,300 guests, alumni, staff members and friends of the University.

Dr Choi Yuk-lin, Secretary for Education, was invited to serve as one of the officiating guests at the Concert. The event featured a stellar lineup of performers including Dr Moses Cheng, Council Chairman; President Simon Ho; celebrities such as Dr Stephen Suen, Mr Arnaldo Ho, Dr Alex Chui, Mr Edwin Cheung, alumni Dr Jacky Cheung and Ms Sarah Xiao, and opera singers from the Hong Kong Grand Opera. The “HSUHK Sinfonietta X Hong Kong iMusic Orchestra” and HSUHK Choir also delighted audiences with a variety of musical performances. Highlights of the Concert included inspiring musical collaborations and an electrifying drum performance led by esteemed members of the HSUHK family.
