Established in 2024 by the Student Affairs Office, the HSUHK Flag-raising Group aims to foster national identity, a sense of responsibility, and team spirit among students. The group currently consists of 28 students from various departments. They receive professional training in ceremonial conduct, etiquette and presentation, and take on roles such as flag raisers, flag guards, and emcees of ceremony during official events.
On-campus flag-raising ceremonies are held weekly and on significant occasions such as New Year’s Day, the HKSAR Establishment Day and the National Day. These ceremonies are well attended by members of the University community, reflecting strong community engagement.
