HSUHK’s Cloud Innovation School (CIS) joined forces with Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB); China Merchants Financial Holdings; the Institute of Web3.0 Hong Kong; HKU Business School; the Hong Kong Digital Asset Society; and HashKey Group, to establish the Digital Asset Alliance. The alliance aims to promote the development of Hong Kong’s digital economy, proposing policy initiatives to the HKSAR Government.

Dr Daniel Mo, Head of CIS, remarked that CIS will continue to organise specialised seminars, surveys, and relevant courses in cloud computing and artificial intelligence to cultivate talents equipped with cloud AI technology, interdisciplinary thinking, and an understanding of market regulations, thereby meeting the opportunities and challenges of the digital industry.
