Dr George Ho, Associate Professor at the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, School of Decision Sciences, won the Silver Award for his collaborative research project “OPlusO Hub: Event Management in the Metaverse” with Chef Digital Limited at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.
Five BBA (Hons) in Supply Chain Management students won second runners-up in the CILTHK Student Day 2024 Competition, with their excellent presentation and analysis of a case study on the management model of global airports.
Jason Hui (Year 4, BBA (Hons) in Supply Chain Management) (left) won the HKIE LTD Best Students Papers Awards 2023. He shared his innovative ideas on supply chain management on the topic of “Development of an Augmented Reality-based Mobile Application (AR-23) for Dangerous Goods Handling and Warehouse Management”.
Four BBA (Hons) Year 4 Marketing students achieved remarkable results in the HSBC/HKU HK Business Case Competition 2024. They stood out among a variety of teams across nine local universities, and won second runners-up. This marked the first time HSUHK students have achieved such excellent results in this competition.
